San Mauro Cilento is a municipality in the Cilento area of Campania, Italy.

Located between Mount Stella and Marina di Mezza Torre, it is part of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park.

Situated a few kilometers from the renowned tourist resort of Acciaroli, San Mauro Cilento consists of three localities: Casalsoprano, Casalsottano, and Marina di Mezzatorre. The first two are respectively located in the upper and lower parts and have the shape of ancient Cilento villages. Marina di Mezzatorre, on the other hand, is a famous seaside resort characterized by equipped beaches, bathed by a beautiful turquoise sea.

The surrounding area of San Mauro Cilento is characterized by ancient water mills, paths immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, and olive groves. The characteristic historic center offers wonderful views of the sea.
