An ancient building in the heart of the former socio-political center of the San Mauro Cilento feud has been beautifully restored and is now known as "Il Palazzetto".

"Il Palazzetto" is located in the main square of San Mauro Cilento, in the province of Salerno, in the district of Casalsoprano.

San Mauro Cilento, just a few kilometers from the renowned tourist destination of Acciaroli, is part of the Cilento and Vallo di Diano National Park. It consists of three areas: Casalsoprano, Casalsottano, and Marina di Mezzatorre. The first two are respectively located in the upper and lower parts and have the shape of ancient Cilento villages. Marina di Mezzatorre, on the other hand, is a famous seaside resort characterized by equipped beaches washed by a beautiful turquoise sea.

The surrounding area of San Mauro Cilento is characterized by ancient water mills, trails immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, and olive groves. The characteristic historic center offers wonderful views of the sea.
